Context
Glimpse is a startup that came out of YCombinator that focuses on creating more intimate virtual events by giving hosts the tools to match their attendees to the people they want to meet. We were acquired by twine.

Role
I was the sole designer during my time at Glimpse, fully redesigning their web app as well as helping them pivot into a Zoom-focused product.
Zoom Plugin
After releasing the updated version of our web app, we were able to get early access to Zoom’s breakout room API before public release.
Due to this, we were able to iterate on our designs and bring them to life on Zoom — with the eventual goal of bringing our plugin across all video conferencing platforms.
Acquisition
Soon after pivoting to a Zoom plugin, we gained the attention of a couple of companies in the event space. Among them was twine, which eventually went on to acquire us.
